About the Therapist
My name is Stacy Wright and I graduated from Western Michigan University in June 2000 with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Throughout my two-decade career, I have spent much of my time working with individuals who have experienced trauma. I have worked extensively with people from different ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, and I am an ally of the LGBTQ+ community.

As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to share their thoughts and feelings. I believe that wellness is a combination of mental and physical health, and I help clients become more aware of how their stressors impact their physical well-being. Additionally, I encourage physical activity, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness as effective ways to manage stress.
I am also trained in the Safe and Sound Protocol and Polyvagal Theory, which are evidence-based practices that can help individuals regulate their nervous system and improve their well-being. My aim as a clinician is to ensure that my clients feel better after every session, and I strive to provide the most effective treatment possible. Whether you opt for traditional therapy, EMDR, the Safe and Sound Protocol, or the Polyvagal Theory, I am here to help you on your journey towards healing.
